Chris Cuffe AO, Group Non-Executive Chairman
Chris has more than 25 years’ experience in building successful wealth management businesses at Colonial First State Investments and Challenger Financial Services Group. As well as his Chairmanship of Fitzpatricks Financial Group, he is Chairman of Uni-Super Limited. He is also the Chairman and major funder of Australian Philanthropic Services, a not-for-profit organisation which aims to inspire and support philanthropy through providing education for individuals and advisers. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of Finsia, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW and a Diploma from the Securities Institute of Australia. Chris is an Officer of the Order of Australia and has also received the Australian Fund Managers Hall of Fame award.
Scott Fitzpatrick, Non-Executive Director
Scott founded the Fitzpatricks Group in 1987 and has more than 25 years’ wealth management experience. He is regarded as one of the change agents who introduced genuine professional, fee for service advice in Australia.
As well as a highly sought after adviser to high net worth individuals and families, Scott is in high demand with other professional advisers and firms to train them in advice and client management. Scott is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
John McMurdo, Group Managing Director
John has nearly 30 years of experience in wealth management, banking and investment management. Prior to joining Fitzpatricks in 2011, he led other national advisory firms as Chief Executive Officer of Centric Wealth, and Managing Director of Hillross Financial Services. Prior to this John led the life insurance business of AMP in New Zealand, doubling the business to more than $100m of revenue during his tenure.
John has built a reputation for building and leading quality firms centred around the delivery of strong client advocacy and professional standards. He has extensive board and governance experience and has served on the Board of the Professionalism and Policy Committee of the FPA of Australia. John has an MBA from Henley Business School U.K.
John Woodley, Director and Chief Executive Officer
He has been a Director of the Fitzpatricks Financial Group since 2000 and Chief Executive of Fitzpatricks Private Wealth since 2008.
John is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and is widely regarded as one of Australia’s finest advisers to high net worth individuals and families.
