Partnering to achieve 'How You Want Life To Be' Our Strategic Partner Program (SPP) is a partnership between Fitzpatricks and its clients. The SPP identifies 'how you want life to be' as the foundation to achieving your lifestyle and financial goals. Each year an agreed agenda provides you with life choices and the confidence to achieve both short and long term goals. You attend regular meetings (up to 3 times a year) and engage in open communication. The program may include the services of various professionals to help you achieve ultimate goals, and it is designed to monitor and provide certainty in your ever-changing affairs… Stage 1: Initial Evaluation This stage is important because our relationship may last for many years: • We explain how we operate. • We outline what you can expect. • You decide whether you feel comfortable with us. • We decide whether we can add value and work together. • We discover the dangers and opportunities you face. There is no charge for the initial evaluation. If agreed, we proceed to the next stage. Stage 2: Discovery We spend considerable time discovering ‘how you want life to be’ and gathering necessary information about you – your current circumstances, family, business, work, finances, assets and liabilities. A detailed questionnaire covers aspects of your financial life. This step involves: • Specifying needs and objectives • Identifying personal values • Identifying specific lifestyle goals We identify the issues that relate to you (for instance, you may need estate planning or tax planning). Issues are prioritised, then we investigate solutions, develop plan/s and produce strategy options. It is important at this stage to understand your attitude towards investment risk, your investment timeframe, and where you are in your career, business or personal life. Stage 3: Strategic Advice We provide a concise outline of your issues (determined from the discovery phase) and advice covering issues such as asset protection, growth and distribution. Typically this advice will be a combination of our input and recommendations together with advice from other professionals such as your accountant and solicitor. The advice provides a solid cornerstone of your strategy for the future. If appropriate, you receive detailed cash flow projections to help you make informed ‘trade offs’ on decisions which affect your ability to achieve your goals. Peace of mind is all about having the confidence that you are on track to achieving your lifestyle goals and fulfilling 'how you want life to be'. Stage 4: Implementation Following your acceptance of our advice, we arrange for recommendations to be implemented. This involves co-ordinating the services of necessary professionals (as agreed by you). |
